This is kind of an old story (2 years) but it's one that I somehow missed. I am just going to give a quick summary and provide you with a link to the blog where the stupidity of Verizon and the Verizon representatives are well documented to be completely stupid.
So if one was to call Verizon and ask what the cost per kilobyte of data usage is in Canada two years ago, you would get a firm answer ".002 Cents per kilobyte." Wow, that's not a bad deal. .002 Cents in dollars would be $.00002/kb. With that rate it would take 50 kilobytes to cost 1 cent. But when George Vaccaro received his bill after being quoted .002 cents he was being billed .002 DOLLARS/kb. That's a 100 fold difference from the rate that he was quoted. Now here's the story about how long and how painfully hard it was to explain the problem with Verizon representatives.
